Suzanne Kraft, born Diego Herrera, is the swiss army knife of electronic musicians. In the past year or so, he’s issued the ambient Missum EP for Running Back, a tough techno-leaning 12-inch as Dude Energy, an experimental two-tracker for Melbourne institution Noise In My Head and Talk From Home, a sublime chill-out album for Jonny Nash’s Melody As Truth. All the while, he digs up unexpected gems new and old for his weekly Things Of Life show, a weekly broadcast on LA web radio station dublab, his home base for musical exploration since high school. Following in the genre-blind footsteps of Angeleno forbears like Lovefingers, DJ Harvey and frequent collaborator Secret Circuit, Suzanne Kraft’s future glows bright, hazy and fucked up like the California sunset.
